Dear Diet Diary,

Last week I lost another kilo making it a total of 3 kg. If I don’t watch my step I’ll gain them back if I continue to eat like this week. For some reason I started the week with chocolate and cookies. And when you add potato chips to the mix it is a recipe for success. In my defense my phone has been acting up on me this last week which has made my life difficult and making me miss deadlines. The stress of it all got me to lose my ground a bit.

All I can say is at least I didn’t gain weight and that there is no sense of crying over spilled milk. All I can do is watch what I eat from now on. Taking a tiny step back in your diet is not the end off the world. Once in a while you have to give yourself a break.

The problem with this week is that I gave myself a few too many breaks so what follows is a list of what not to eat if you want to lose weight.

Week #3 Tally

Day 1: Eggs for breakfast. Polenta and yoghurt for lunch and polenta and white coffee for dinner. What can I say, I love polenta šŸ™‚ Oh yes, and for afternoon snack I had chocolate šŸ™ Water 1,8 l

Day 2: Eggs for breakfast. It’s Friday and I was planning on making fish today but because of unavoidable circumstances we had stewed green beans. Cookies for dinner šŸ™ Not proud šŸ™ Water 1 l šŸ™

Day 3: After the transgressions I made the last two days I had to watch my step. Eggs for breakfast. Salad for lunch and dinner. Water 0,8 l

Day 4: More eggs for breakfast. Fried chicken and salad and a few new and sweet potato fries for lunch. Water 1,2 l

Day 5: Bread, butter and jam for breakfast. Veggy pizza for lunch. No real dinner, snacked throughout the evening. Started a can of potato chips. Water 1 l

Day 6: Bread, butter and jam for breakfast. Chicken Paprikash with dumplings and too much cherry strudel for lunch. More strudel for dinner. Continued with the can of potato chips. Water 1 l

Day 7: Bread, butter and jam for breakfast. Veal stew with polenta for lunch. Watermelon for dinner. Finished the can of potato chips. Water 1 l

Start weight: 67 kg
End weight: 67 kg
Result: 0 kg

If I keep this up I’ll be a perfect shape soon. Perfect shape being a sphere šŸ™‚ I have to do better next week.

Wish me luck!

Love, Kay
